Become a part of WiN Cameroon and make a difference in the fields of STEM and nuclear technology! We offer five distinct membership categories to suit a variety of individuals and organizations.

Membership Benefits

Social Assistance Fund

Member in good standing will have access to various financial assistance programs:

  • Childbirth Assistance: Receive 50,000 XAF for childbirth, available once per member.

  • Marriage Assistance: Get 50,000 XAF for marriage, available once.

  • Parental Bereavement Assistance: A financial support of 50,000 XAF is available in case of the death of a member’s parent(s).

  • Spousal or Child Bereavement Assistance: Members in good standing are entitled to 50,000 XAF in the event of the death of a spouse or child.

Regular Membership

This category is reserved for women and men working in nuclear and related areas. Membership is granted upon approval by the Executive Committee and payment of the required membership fee.

Associate Membership

Open to individuals who support the goals of WiN Cameroon, this membership requires approval by the Executive Committee. Please note that associate members do not have voting rights or eligibility for elected office.

Affiliated Organizations

Organizations that share the objectives of WiN Cameroon and are willing to contribute to our activities can join as affiliated organizations, subject to Executive Committee approval and payment of the membership fee. Representatives of these organizations will also not have voting rights or be eligible for elected office.

Honorary Membership

This prestigious membership is awarded to distinguished individuals or those who have made significant contributions to WiN Cameroon or shown exceptional commitment in nuclear technology and related fields. Nominations are typically made by the Executive Committee and require approval at the Annual General Meeting. Honorary members do not possess voting rights.

Student Membership

Designed for students in STEM and nuclear-related fields, this membership allows students to elect a representative to the Executive Committee as an observer. However, student members do not have voting rights.

Membership Requirements

  • Registration Fees: 

- Regular Members: 20,000 XAF (increasing by 2,000 XAF annually). 

- Affiliated Organizations: 200,000 XAF.

  • Annual Fees: 

- Regular Members: 15,000 XAF. 

- Affiliated Organizations: 300,000 XAF.

  • While registration fees are paid only once, the annual fees must be submitted by March 31st each year.

  • Payment can be made via money transfer to the OM and MoMo accounts of the treasurer, ensuring to include any necessary withdrawal fees.
